TINY GIANTS
This week, we shine a spotlight on some of our planet’s smallest but mightiest creatures. Campers will shrink down to ant‑size to explore a bustling colony and see teamwork in action, investigate the surprising strength of beetles and roly‑polys, and uncover the wonderfully odd habits of dung beetles. They’ll examine the powerful jaws and impressive size of native beetles, walking sticks, and lubber grasshoppers in our up‑close insect zoo. With crafts, outdoor activities, and plenty of hands‑on discovery, campers will learn why these tiny giants—and butterflies—play such an essential role in their ecosystems. Throughout the week, every child will have the chance to meet our insect and reptile ambassador animals and, weather permitting, release a butterfly.
DAILY DROP IN FEE: $80
(DAY PASSES WILL BE AVAILABLE AFTER NOON ON THE FRIDAY PRIOR TO CAMP--IF CAMP IS NOT FULL)
