Strawberries, Bees & Butterflies Nature Camp is a sweet and wild spring adventure where kids discover the magic of Florida’s native ecosystems through the lens of one remarkable plant—the Florida Wild Strawberry! As the host plant for the delicate Gray Hairstreak butterfly and a favorite nectar source for native bees and other pollinators, this tiny treasure plays a big role in the natural world. Campers will explore how strawberries support butterflies, feed wildlife, and even offer a juicy treat for humans. Through hands-on activities, garden explorations, and pollinator-themed crafts, kids will learn how plants, insects, and people are all connected in a buzzing, fluttering web of life.
Please contact Little Red Wagon Native Nursery/Tampa Bay Butterfly Foundation if you have any questions.
