Get ready for two amazing Nature Camps!
OCTOBER 10 CAMP: Biomimicry
What is biomimicry in nature? Have you ever wondered how nature inspires some of the coolest inventions around us? This fascinating science shows how humans mimic nature’s designs, like how sticky burrs inspired Velcro. Campers will discover how engineers and scientists use nature to solve everyday problems. They’ll be encouraged to observe the world around them in new and creative ways, sparking their curiosity and love for science, technology, and engineering. We are excited to introduce them to essential STEM concepts and foster a deeper appreciation for nature. It’s the perfect way to explore how the designs we see in nature have shaped the tools and technologies we use today!
OCTOBER 13 CAMP: Prehistoric Bugs
This one-day camp will take kids into a blast from the past where campers will discover prehistoric food chains. Campers will learn if an animal is a carnivore, omnivore, or herbivore by examining an animal’s teeth shape! As an extra special activity, campers will get to dig for their very own fossils! As always, campers will meet our amazing ambassador animals!
