Due to the popularity of this camp, we are offering it again this summer!
Do you know why a group of butterflies is called a kaleidoscope? Come learn why! Flutter into the magical world of Florida's butterflies at our Kaleidoscope of Butterflies Camp! Campers will become butterfly experts and advocates as we study native species up-close, uncover their secret lives, and transform into them through lively activities. Discover dangers from habitat loss and climate change threatening butterfly diversity through an urgent mock conservation conference. Explore actions we can take in our community through citizen science efforts for these beautiful and beneficial natural pollinators all around us. The butterfly world is full of wonder!! Every child will get an opportunity to release a butterfly during the week and meet our ambassador animals (insects and reptiles).
This--our most popular camp--is being offered for a second time this summer with some additional activities, for those who miss registering for the four-day camp in May.
If you are having trouble registering, or believe the camp may be full, please email [email protected] and we will assist you!
DAY PASSES ARE NOW AVAILABLE!
