An oak tree is more than a shady picnic spot, or a great place for a tire swing. The mighty oak is its own ecosystem and the most important Keystone species in most places on Earth. Did you know that one oak can be home to 500 butterflies and moths!?! This week focuses on the importance of trees, and the birds and pollinators that call them home. Campers will make awesome crafts that can be used in their yard to aid the creatures who call trees their home. Every child will get an opportunity to release a butterfly during each week.
If camp is not full, DAY PASSES WILL BE AVAILABLE AFTER NOON ON THE FRIDAY PRIOR TO THE CAMP START DATE!
If you are having trouble registering, or believe the camp may be full, please email [email protected] and we will assist you!
Please contact Little Red Wagon Native Nursery/Tampa Bay Butterfly Foundation if you have any questions.
